i am packing all of my stuff, from my whole wide life, to get ready for the move to portland tomorrow. we are moving into a small studio, so i really have to be careful with how much i pack. i am notoriously bad at packing anyway.
does anyone have any good methods? i am packing EVERYTHING, clothing, shoes, books, misc. items, purses, and everything is going into plastic garbage bags. everything...

We Have An Apartment (Basically).
we have been approved for the studio, and it looks like we will be moving in this weekend, or at least i will be, kevin will still be at the dorms for a few weeks. i guess it hasn’t hit all the way yet, i don’t feel awesome about it. i am too stressed with all the things we have to do and everything that has to happen. once that is all cleaned up i’m sure i will feel better.

kev and i sent in the app for the studio apartment we are really hoping to get. hopefully we will get a response soon, and VERY hopefully it will be a positive one. this would be a hugely positive thing for us.
in the meantime i am going to go try to figure out something to eat for lunch. it’s nice out today so maybe i will go sit out for a while.

he is a apparently ‘fine’, the vet called, he is on a bunch of pain meds, he is closing his mouth now. we can pick him up at quarter to five. i hope he is really ok. thank god.

they took him to the vet early this morning, after spending the night in his crate. they are telling me that they have him on antibiotics, and due to the thread cutting, he may lose a portion of his tongue. but otherwise i (hope, i think that’s what i am hearing) he should be ok. i think.
